How to block ads in Yahoo Mail on IE web browser

YAHOO MAIL is one of the most popular free email services in the world, but has been hampered by wide banner ads and flickering for a long time. Web sites must recover the cost of providing free services, but Yahoo! Advertising promotes acceptable behavior. If you think Yahoo! The message goes too far when it comes to advertising, you can disable them with just a few simple operations.
1 Visit the Adblock Plus site. Internet Explorer does not provide Adblock Plus through the extension manager, so you need to install it directly from the Adblock Plus site (

2 Click the "Settings for Internet Explorer" button.
3 Click. The Run button appears at the bottom of the page. This will start the setup process. Internet Explorer will be closed during setup.

4 Restart Internet Explorer. When the installation process is complete, you can restart Internet Explorer.
5 Click. Turn the button at the bottom of the page to enable Adblock Plus. You may have to restart Internet Explorer again.
6 Re-open Yahoo! Letter. Now that Adblock Plus is up and running, you can return to Yahoo! Letter. All ads will now be hidden.
